Paul and I want to get away for a nice, (somewhat cheap) weekend. I mean, we are willing to go to a hotel, but not an expensive one. Do you have any advice for us? Leave me a comment.

Sounds like fun! I would check Craig's List under vacation rentals. Lots of times people who have had to cancel their vacations try to get a little money back by offering a great deal to someone else. Or some people are just looking for a way for their time shares to get some use in the off season. I hope you find a great deal!

We just went to Ocean Shores. This time of year, it cost a lot less and sometimes there is a deal if you go early in the week and stay for more than one night.

Thanks guys! I guess it's a "babymoon" of sorts. Plus neither of us could decide on something for our birthday so we just decided to go on a weekend out instead. I really just love the great deals. I don't like paying full price for a hotel because they are so overpriced anyway. I will definately be searching around.
